CEO
Tim has over 20 years of banking and finance experience in Australia and overseas.
He has a master’s degree in finance, holds diplomas in accounting and mortgage broking, and is a licenced broker with the Finance Brokers Association of Australia Ltd (FBAA).
Tim is the appointed Responsible Manager under the Australian Credit Licence.
In his spare time, Tim is an accomplished clarinettist and has played with multiple local orchestras in Australia and Asia.
Aron Underwood
Head of Business Development
Aron Underwood is a seasoned finance professional with nearly two decades of experience in the mortgage broking industry.
Based in Melbourne, Aron currently serves as the Director of Business Development at Urbane Finance, where he plays a pivotal role in fostering strategic partnerships with accountants, financial planners, real estate agents, property investment advisory firms, and buyer advocates. His deep industry knowledge and commitment to client-centric solutions have earned him a reputation as a trusted advisor and connector.
In addition to his business development responsibilities, Aron mentors Urbane Finance's broker team.
Beyond his professional endeavours, Aron is deeply committed to sustainable living. He resides off the grid in the Dandenong Ranges, embracing a lifestyle that prioritizes simplicity and environmental consciousness.
Paul Truong
Mortgage Broker
Paul joined Urbane Finance in 2023, and his mission is to make the loan application process as simple as possible for clients.
He is based in our Melbourne office and has 12 years of experience in residential, commercial and self-managed super fund (SMSF) lending, so he can help you navigate the many options to find a lender and product that is suitable for your goals.
Paul’s significant experience in banking, lending, and financial planning means that you’re in good hands.
In his spare time, Paul enjoys spending time with his wife and going for long walks with his Golden Retriever Reggie.

Based in our Melbourne office, Denique has worked as a finance and mortgage broker for over 4 years.
Specialising in first home buyers and property investors, Denique is passionate about helping people achieve their financial dreams and goals and ensuring that their finance process remains simple whilst finding them the best lender possible.
Outside of the office, Denique is a dancer and dance teacher, who loves cheering on the Western Bulldogs in the AFL and spending time with her husband and golden retriever X poodle, Kevin.

Ben joined Urbane Finance with a mission to make the home loan process as straightforward and stress-free as possible for his clients.
Based in Melbourne, Ben brings over four years of experience in lending, with a strong focus on helping first home buyers, refinancers, property investors, and clients using self-managed super funds (SMSFs) find the right loan to suit their needs and goals.
Ben understands the importance of clear communication, trust, and attention to detail – all qualities he brings into every client relationship.
When he’s not helping clients secure finance, Ben enjoys spending time with his wife and two young daughters, who keep life busy and full of energy.
He’s actively involved in the local community, particularly through his work with the local tennis club, and is also a keen mountain biker who loves hitting the trails whenever he gets the chance.
